Olowo Stephen David – “What is Wrong”

What is wrong with my life
When so well I throw the dice
Why downtrodden _ so full of flies
Why so sick with suffering and cries
What is wrong with the path I take
The day that breaks
Or the way I wake
That my heart shakes
Why is all the hope forsaken
What’s about the mistakes
Even with all the ways untrodden
Why can’t I have my cakes
What is wrong with this life I make
Or with the match that’s made
What is wrong with the risks I take
In calling a spade – a spade
What is wrong with the words I said
That the letters create
Just that I don’t become to life _ a maid
Like two bottles and a crate
But I’ll be strong
Behind all of life’s risk I take
I’ll be we’ll wrung
dry _ on the brisks I face
For your sake.

The writing and construction are good but you can at least separate them in lines…
It was a little hard for me to get the new lines of the poem
Nevertheless, it was a blessing and I pray for grace. Keep up the good work.

I think it’s a good one, this would have been better expressed in song.
